I’m Rafael, currently living in São Paulo. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by art and technology, a passion that led me to research the relationships between humanity, technology, and nature through the aesthetic experience during my master’s at the University of São Paulo.
After over 5 years teaching courses and giving lectures in this field, I decided to deepen my studies by pursuing a second degree in Philosophy.
My current professional focus involves analyzing and discussing how recent technological revolutions are transforming our relationships, senses, and perceptions, particularly concerning our bodies and lived experiences. To achieve this, my researches have been closer to Phenomenology and Philosophy of Technology (with a particular interest in Japanese Philosophy).
I am a member of the Grupo de Estudos Arte Ásia (GEAA – USP/UNIFESP) and I have been participating in the meetings of the Phenomenology Study Group (GeFen – USP).
This website serves as a space to share some thoughts and productions, as well as future lectures and courses.
